Shut Up Legs poster

Image of Shut Up Legs poster

$20.00

Jens Voigt has always been a cycling hero of Ben’s. Never going much for personal glory, always pulling himself inside out and back again for his team leaders, he is a hardman's hardman. Inspired by Jens Voigt’s work for Andy Schleck on the slopes of the Col de la Madeleine in stage 9 of year’s Tour de France, with a Friday afternoon to kill & the desire to put some ink on paper, it seemed the right thing to celebrate Jens with a quote of his that's become his calling card.

Seventy-five percent of the proceeds went to the Food Bank of Delaware. $1,100 was donated in Jens Voigt’s name. We could make some sort of ‘You can tell your legs to shut up, but it’s much harder to tell your stomach to do so’ analogy, but suffice it to say that times are hard, people need a hand when it comes to having enough to eat, and the Food Bank of Delaware does great work for the state in which we live.

Printed letterpress on Mowhawk Superfine cover weight paper, the poster is 18 inches by 24 inches. Because these are printed by letterpress, each poster will be slightly different. That's a good thing, enjoy! Shipped out USPS in a 2" diameter mailing tube; tracking isn't available, but if you didn't get your poster in two weeks or so, drop us a line and we'll get you taken care of.

As this poster project was somewhat of a lark/excuse for Ben to take some time to print, a second run is not planned.
